north

I haven't been to Flagstaff once this summer.
It was high time to rectify that.

It says 86 degress at 4:30 AM when I left Phoenix.

At least the drive is scenic.

55 as I got close - 31 degree difference. Hell yes.
Oh, and yes, I drove from Verde Vally to Flag in 3rd gear.

Waiting for Flodizzle at Macy's.

It's time.

No. not time for that.

The trails were perfect as a storm had rolled thru during the night/early morning which meant no dust and tacky corners.

We rode Schultz, Little Gnarly, Weenie Walk, Upper Brookbank, Little Bear, Schultz.

A little maintenance.

I love descending Little Bear.

As we were descending LB we came up on a solo rider. Bells were dinged, room to get by was asked for. No response. I went around on the high side of a corner and the rider freaked and almost took himself and swoly out. Odd.

Lunch at Beaver Street. Saw the Gnome riding out to the trails as were were headed for grub.
Hi Dave!

Gone just in time to miss the afternoon rains.

Watched a few storms on my way home.

Home by 2:30.A short nap and swimming with the family.
Not a bad day.

The ladies joined us to see what it is we do on Thursdays.

It was fun to have the gals along. We'll have to make a regular thing of it.

buggy

Year round riding.

New nut bag for coach.

Hey baby, I'll make you a star.

The bugs were a bit much at times.

Nothing says good times like insects drowning in sweat while you ride.
The lucky ones went up my nose.
