slice-n-dice

So I’m riding home in my own merry world ignoring the kids making fun of my new knickers when a rock smacks the pavement a foot from me. WTF?

A 1st grader and a 4th grader are having rock fight. Again WTF? If I didn’t have a kid and my wife wasn’t a teacher I likely would have ignored that shit and kept riding. Nope, I went to the 1st grader and said, “Here, let me show you how to light that mother fucker up like a pinball machine”. Kids.

I had a cyst removed from my back yesterday and I’m still kicking myself for not taking it home. Dammit! Who wants marzipan?

The surgeon was talking about spurting cysts and blood while she was slicing and dicing. I remarked about her wonderful bedside manner and she apologized thinking I was being facetious. I wasn’t – that shit was entertaining.

In other news our attempt at resurrecting our OP team from 2 years ago has fallen to shit. Denver won’t fly in. Bush pusher went solo. I proposed to donkey boy that we go duo, team “Screw you Harry!” We’ll see.

Food for thought from pops:

http://www.nytimes.com/learning/general/onthisday/big/1211.html#article

people seem to remember only Dec 7th, but with declarations of war on us by Germany and Italy three days later, try and imagine the mood in our country - besieged on both side by warring nations seeking nothing less than complete world domination. No WMD fantasies, we were truly attacked from all sides and needed to go to the aid of our besieged friends and allies in Europe and China.

You can understand now, why your 17 year old grandpa sought to join the Navy that very week and was frustrated when they told him to come back after he got out of high school (6 months away). Your grand Uncle Jim was taken at once into the Army, but because of his straight-A grades was sent first to the War College in Washington, DC

And with the storm in Europe now on both our horizons, the deafening drumbeat of war taking their sons away, imagine a bereft (if proud and resigned) great-grandma and grandpa watching their sons go down the front steps, knowing that neither one might ever come back up those steps. And in their tiny village of South Range, Michigan there were to be boys who would never have the chance to become men except briefly, in the brutal crucible of war.

Damn shame that now sons and daughters are dying for such bullshit. Again, read this http://www.charleston.net/stories/default_pf.aspx?newsID=58041
and fucking stand up.

explosives are your friend

no, really.
if used properly or for sheer entertainment.
reconissance for the dynomite overnight went swimmingly.
a good ride too.
we lost beck towards the end but she out-foxed us. we backtracked and tracked her and found that she picked a much better route. she was ready to leave by the time we made it back to shock central.
i need to spend more time out there. some serious potential and places to go that most moto don't.
the reconissnace down at the lake revealed a bald eagle breeding ground. pretty cool. and I found the dino-burner could do some impressive stuff (good thing too cuz i'd have been screwed).
but bad news for those involoved - we can make it but it ain't gonna be any fun. plan b time.....

peep my new capris (knickers) from hypnotic design - they fucking rock so far. the wait was worth it. just wait for next thursday's canal crit. i be like canal crit like key be to lock.
