Jason made the trek from BFE to join the ThNR which was initially just him, John and myowndamnself. Gordon stalked us and found us later in the night in Tempe. It was nice to have a new participant who could hold his own (read: help me hold John's wheel when he goes off).
I haven't ridden Hawes in some time. In fact I think I only ride where when we do a Red mountain epic. Being that my office is now in mesa I finally was able to squeeze in a little ride after work.
The light was great, the temp was great. It was one of those ride that recharges the soul a bit.
It was time again for Jim's annual Flight of the Pigs. Almost 70 miles and an all day affair. It's always a good place to see old friends and make new ones.
Everyone made the time cutoff at Buena Vista.
Towards the end of National I had a nasty tumble off my bike and rolled a few times down the side of the mountain. I was lucky to escape with some cuts and bruises.
Caption this.
