coconino

Three days. Three rides.
Such a plethora of riding has been scarce.
Twas rectified.
Friday night ride in the preserves. Coach showed us the new vapor trail.
It rained right up to the ride but the trails were dry and the weather was awesome.

We then converged on Sonora for grub.

In the morning it was off to Preskett where Spruce Mtn was on the agenda.

I had never ridden 307. Mr. Jones joined Trashy and I.

It had been raining off and on all day but we figured we'd give it a go and turn around if it got too gnarly out.

It started out innocently enough but it wasn't long before the sleet and hail started.

It was a mighty fine trail.

It could use a chainsaw tho.

We celebrated surviving the ride at Coyote Joe's.

Then over to El Gato Azul for some hen and one of the best meals I've had in some time.

Then we met the interesting characters of Whiskey Row.

Sunday morning we cleared our heads with a ride out at Lynx Lake.

Ran into Dave and friend at the top.

How do you post tomorrow, today? Nice to see you, sounds like you had better weather Sat. than we did.

Good stuff, Prescott is always fun. Tell me more about Coyote Joe's and El Gato Azul.

Gato is a hybridized Tapas place. Good tapas menu. I had the fried avocado and a perfectly cooked sirloin with chorizo and roasted veggies. It was fantastic.
Coyotes Joes is one of the more "normal" bars in town.
