Trashy comes a callin

Trashy and I went and rode National today.
Up and down. It was the middle of the day on a Friday.
Perfect time to cut down on trail traffic.
I completely forgot how much fun National is to climb and session.
I cleaned some stuff I didn't think I could. On the way down I just
followed Trashy and cleaned some more stuff I've been having a block on.
It was sweet. I still chickened out on the waterfall but I cleaned the bermuda triangle.
Tomorrow, the McDowells....

Got a new camera finally. I had it for a whole hour before the ride.
Still gotta figure it out.

busy

It is amazing how much more work a second munchkin is.
Certainly not a complaint by any way, shape or means.
I wouldn't have it any other way.
And damn. Look at all the stuff I still get to do.
I love my wife and kids.
The day started out with a soccer game.

We may have a ringer but learning how to
work as a team and getting exercise is what it's all about.

The other fact of life of having munchkins
is umpeen bday parties.
Also today was a party at an an ice rink.
Pure entertainment. Watch yer kids.
Lots of freaks.

Then it was time to do something dad wanted to do.

Everyone wants to see the baby.

Kidz is crazy

cue sheet

Ze hammah and Coach met me at the munchkin's soccer game this afternoon.
From there we headed up to Reach 11 and over to Scottsdale to finish the cue sheet for
PEE.
It was an AWESOME day to be outside, as if ma nature was blessing our ride.
Hammah and I spent some time documenting the new route that removes some 6ish miles of road.
As we neared the equestrian park we both thought we heard a scream and other assorted strange sounds. We passed a newish gold malibu with a teen standing very suspiciously and by the driver's side and someone in the passenger seat. It just didn't smell right so we doubled back and were greeted with FU's and and a 50 mph exit of the parking lot. Crazy kids.
Our work was done so we hauled arse to Sonora Brewhouse for food and libations.
Pic from der hammah.

gear ho

About a year ago I saw a photo of a bike nicely outfitted with a seat bag, frame bag and handlebar bag.

All were custom made by Carousel Design Works, a one-man operation run by Jeff Boatman.
After the last AZT trip I realized I didn't really need the rear rack so I ordered a seat bag from Jeff.
It arrived today. Looks good, nice construction. I can't wait to try it out.

Watch the evolution.
