the boy and i absconded up north to meet with other folks for a day in the snow. our first time at snowbowl. up at 4 am and 300+ miles in the car. more than worth it. the kid was on his best behavior and belted out christmas songs on the way up. cheery he was. excellent times.
I had one of my best seasons of skiing at the bowl... Nipple deep and tons of whacked out people. Good times good times. Now I ski but things are much flatter.

2 years in the 'nix and no real love from Snowbowl, I leave and see what happens. Looks like a good time.
